Washington, DC -- Today, U.S. Reps. Jason Crow (D-C0), Jennifer Wexton (D-VA), and María Elvira Salazar (R-FL) introduced the bipartisan Fairness for Craft Beverage Producers Act that would allow craft breweries, wineries, distilleries, and other small beverage producers that depend on in-person sales in their taprooms and tasting rooms to be eligible for a larger maximum loan amount in the Second Draw Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). These craft beverage producers were inadvertently excluded from increased maximum PPP loan amount eligibility, which is designed to aid the hardest-hit small businesses like restaurants and bars.

The lawmakers called on Acting Secretary Pekoske to apply the same principles to DHS and phase out the use of privately operated immigration detention facilities under Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

WASHINGTON - Today, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) announced it would begin an investigation into the January 6th Capitol Attack following a bicameral effort led by Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) and over 110 of his colleagues to GAO demanding a comprehensive and independent investigation into the Capitol attack.
