Lower Costs for Coloradans

I grew up working class and understand how rising prices hurt working families. When the price of food or gas ticks up, families have to make hard decisions about saving less, limiting other expenses, and paying their bills.

This is the reality for hardworking Coloradans.

That's why I'm working every avenue to bring down prices, address supply chain issues, and deliver relief to you right now – including helping pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which the President has already signed into law. This critical piece of legislation tackles healthcare and energy costs by:

  • Saving average families up to $1,940 a year on their healthcare coverage;
  • Expanding coverage for 42,000 Coloradans;
  • Capping Insulin costs at $35 a month for Medicare beneficiaries;
  • Ensuring out of pocket costs for older folks on Medicare never exceed more than $2,000 a year;
  • Cutting energy costs by up to $423 a year for families across Colorado.

While that bill gears up, Team Crow has also compiled a list of money-saving resources available online and provided by organizations in our community for those who need help right away.

I hope you will share your thoughts with me by taking a survey on this topic. Hearing directly from constituents provides me with valuable feedback to better meet the challenges we face in our community.

I will continue to listen and lead –  keeping your views in mind as I fight hard to continue passing legislation that returns money to your pockets.
