WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO) released the following statement after the Supreme Court eliminated longstanding caps on election spending, opening the doors for more corruption in our politics:

“Our political system is broken, and the Supreme Court is making it worse.

“Giving billionaires and special interests even more influence in our elections won’t make things better. Americans are sick and tired of a corrupt political system that works for elites, but not for them.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO) introduced a Congressional resolution designating June 21 as National Asking Saves Kids (ASK) Day, a day to encourage safe firearms storage and to urge parents to ask if their children will be in a home with an unsecured gun. Firearms are the leading cause of death among children and teens in this country. More than 6.7 million children live in homes with access to unsecured guns, which plays a role in thousands of injuries and deaths among kids every year.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow, Senator Michael Bennet, and Colorado’s Democratic Congressional delegation are demanding answers from the Trump Administration about its proposed reorganization of the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) that would eliminate all regional offices, close nearly 60 research facilities, and lead to major layoffs during fire season in Colorado. This is in addition to major layoffs at the Forest Service under Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) last year that eliminated 350 positions in Colorado alone.
