Meet Jason
Service. Leadership. Results for Colorado.
Jason Crow is a veteran from a working class family, focused on lowering costs, protecting democracy, and strengthening our national security.
Jason Crow represents Colorado’s 6th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. A former Army Ranger and the first in his family to graduate from college, he has dedicated his career to serving his country and his community.
Growing up in a working class family, working minimum wage jobs in high school, then enlisting in the National Guard and doing construction to help pay for school, Jason understands the pressures that working Coloradans face. That’s why he has consistently fought to lower costs and help families get ahead.
Jason raised his hand to serve our country as a paratrooper and Army Ranger. He’s bringing that same sense of service to Congress, where he’s fighting to level the playing field for working families.
Congressman Crow served three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division and 75th Ranger Regiment, earning the Bronze Star for his leadership.
Like so many veterans transitioning back to civilian life, Jason struggled to get his veterans benefits when he returned home from service. He went to work as an attorney, helping Colorado veterans access the care, resources, and benefits they earned. Jason was named Denver’s Pro-bono Lawyer of the Year for his work helping service members transition from military to civilian life.
He now serves on the House Armed Services and Intelligence Committees, and was the lead Democrat on the Joint Task Force on the Assassination of President Trump.
"Servant leadership—putting the needs of those you lead ahead of your own—continues to drive my approach today."
Jason believes government should work for you—not elites, big corporations, or special interests. In Congress, he is standing up to corruption and working to end dark money in politics.
"Our political system is rigged. It’s not only poisoning our politics, it’s stopping working people from getting ahead. You deserve better."
Jason can be seen out and about in our community regularly meeting with small businesses, visiting seniors and veterans, holding town halls, and finding ways to partner with Colorado’s local leaders to bring our shared priorities to Washington. He’s consistently ranked as one of the most effective Members of Congress for his ability to find common ground with both parties to deliver for Colorado. Through his pragmatic approach, he’s been able to bring home millions of dollars in investments to improve our community.
Jason has a son and a daughter and lives in Colorado. He enjoys baseball, hiking, and a good Colorado craft beer.
