AURORA - Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) delivered over $1,000,000 in community project funding, including $840,000 to the Colorado Economic Defense Project to fund a “Just Bus” - a service that will provide eviction preventative services to residents across our community, and $225,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver (BGCMD) to support innovative STEM-based curriculum, supplies for space exploration and astronomy, and activities focused on space in partnership with subject matter experts.

AURORA — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) joined University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (AMC) leaders to present over $400,000 for the Rural eConsult Expansion. The innovative eConsult platform gives health providers the ability to conduct online consultations with specialists and helps patients receive timely, effective treatment in rural Colorado. Crow requested and secured this funding through the FY24 appropriations process.

BOW MAR & CENTENNIAL — On Tuesday, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) delivered over $600,000 in community project funding, including $455,400 for the Town of Bow Mar to repair and replace right of way signage used to access open space areas, $108,000 for Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office to acquire new dog kennels for police K9s, and $59,000 for the POST Board Certified Law Enforcement Academy to implement a program to train recruits to agency standards. The funding is part of the 15 community projects Crow requested and secured through the FY24 appropriations process.

AURORA — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06), veteran, sent a letter urging the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to address concerning reports about the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMVA) regarding staffing shortages, staff morale, and the RMVA prosthetics department that could be resulting in substandard care for veterans.
