Mosley, the first Black football player at Colorado State University, a decorated Tuskegee Airman, and life-long civil rights leader. The VA clinic is named for Lt. Col. John W.
AURORA — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) joined Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver (BGCMD) leadership and educators to present $1.2 million he secured to bolster afterschool programming, help close the achievement gap, and invest in retaining high caliber staff dedicated to youth development.
AURORA — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) joined Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman, school district leaders, mental health providers, and local elected officials to present $1.5 million to construct Cherry Creek School District’s (CCSD) new mental health day treatment center, Traverse Academy. Traverse Academy will be the first-of-its-kind facility in the nation to be operated by a school district and will help expand access to treatment for students struggling with serious mental health challenges.
AURORA — Today, Army veteran Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) presented the Colorado Freedom Memorial Foundation with $1.5 million in federal Community Project Funding he secured in the Fiscal Year 2023 appropriations process to create the Colorado Freedom Memorial Center.
AURORA & CASTLE ROCK — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) delivered over $1.2 million in community project funding that he helped secure to address the mental health needs of Colorado’s 6th District. The funding includes $668,313 to Children’s Hospital Colorado for programs to address the multilingual needs of Colorado’s youth receiving mental health care as well as $629,970 to Douglas County for their Douglas Enhanced Model of Services to expand access to ongoing, mental and behavioral health treatment.
