Today, Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06) launched his first Lead Locally of 2020 with a visit to Aurora. Lead Locally, an initiative started by Crow during his first year in office, brings him to cities and municipalities across the district for tours with local officials. Last year, Crow visited nine communities including Aurora, Thornton, Highlands Ranch, Brighton, Greenwood Village, Littleton, Centennial, Foxfield, and Parker. During today's visit, Crow met with Mayor Coffman, Mayor Pro Term Johnston, City Manager Twombly, and Adams County Commissioner Tedesco.

"For the last two weeks, we called on the Senate to perform their duty, to follow their oath, and do what is right for our country.
"I don't pretend that this was an easy process. It wasn't designed to be easy. Impeachment of the President is one of the most difficult things our country can go through and it must always be the last course of action, never the first.
Congressman Jason Crow, who has made lowering prescription drug costs a focus of his first year in office, announced today that he will be joined at the State of the Union by Sue Way of Aurora. Ms. Way, a retired nurse, saw the cost of her insulin increase by over 500 percent last year and was forced to ration her medication as a result.
Today, Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) launched "Valentines for Vets" inviting constituents of the sixth district to send or drop off Valentines for veterans at Crow's district office in Aurora, starting today through Friday, February 7, 2020. For the program, Crow's office is partnering with Denver USO who will help deliver the cards to veterans.

"I love our country and what it represents both at home and around the world. My time in military service taught me that our democracy exists because men and women stand up to fight for it. It's a belief that drove me to serve my country in combat and led me to the halls of Congress. While there is no map for the challenges we face, my oath to support and defend the Constitution has guided me for years, and will continue to guide me during this trial.
It's still dark in Washington, D.C., when Representative Jason Crow gets up, pulls on his sneakers, and slips out the front door of the apartment he shares with Congressman Joe Neguse. Crow is used to getting up at dawn. As a kid, he woke early to stalk deer in Wisconsin's Northwoods. In the Army, he didn't have a choice. Now, as a freshman congressman, he gets up every morning by 6 a.m. of his own accord.
