Washington, D.C. – Today, Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) alongside Lamborn (CO-05), Horn (OK-05), Babin (TX-36), Waltz (FL-06), and Crist (FL-13) announced the creation of the House Space Force Caucus. The co-chairs of the caucus also invited their House colleagues to join and support the sixth branch of the U.S. military. The Caucus will serve as an organization dedicated to educating Members and their staff about the U.S. Space Force as well as advocating on the Hill on behalf of our nation's youngest military Service.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO), a member of the House Armed Services Committee and former Army Ranger, and Reps. Kelly (R-MS), Omar (D-MN), DesJarlais (R-TN), and Crist (D-FL) introduced the Veterans' Sentinel Act to respond to suicide by U.S. veterans at VA facilities by improving the accuracy of data collection and enhancing congressional oversight. The bill comes on the heels of an investigation that found multiple mistakes in the VA's reporting of suicides on-campus. The bill is endorsed by VoteVets, Concerned Veterans for America, the National Guard Association of the United States, AFL-CIO Union Veterans Council, and AMVETS.

Washington, D.C.— Today, the House Small Business Committee Subcommittee on Innovation and Workforce Development, under Chairman Jason Crow (D-CO) held a hearing examining how the Small Business Administration's (SBA) legacy technology systems faired throughout the implementation of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The hearing also covered recent issues surrounding the SBA's release of PPP loan data and their new system for PPP forgiveness.

On September 18, Representative Jason Crow (CO-06), former Army Ranger and member of the House Armed Services Committee, joined a congressional delegation led by Representative Jackie Speier (CA-14) to Fort Hood, Texas to investigate the Army's botched response to the disappearance and murder of SPC Vanessa Guillén and the deaths of PV2 Gregory Wedel Morales, SGT Elder Fernandes, PFC Brandon Rosecrans, SPC Freddy Delacruz, and many more. So far this year, nearly 30 servicemembers at Fort Hood have died, including eight killed in accidents, six suicides, five homicides, and two related to illness. The cause of at least six other deaths is undetermined.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Reps. Jason Crow (CO-06) introduced the Teacher, Principal, and Leader Residency Access Act alongside Reps. Jahana Hayes (CT-05), Scott Tipton (CO-03), Lori Trahan (MA-03) and Rodney Davis (IL-13). The bipartisan-led bill would expand Federal Work-Study funds to pay for costs associated with participating in teacher and principal residency programs, which have proven effective to improve teacher demand, quality, and retention. The bill would add teacher and principal residencies to the Federal Work-Study program ensuring no added cost to the taxpayer.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Jason Crow announced the Department of Justice's Office for Victims of Crime will grant $2,878,767 to the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice to assist victims of the 2019 shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch.

"Our community has carried a heavy burden from gun violence and it is critical that we support our families, students, and educators in their path to recovery from the STEM shooting. This federal grant is tremendous news and will play a pivotal role in helping our survivors move forward," said Crow.
