Crow Calls on FCC Chairman Pai to Increase Accuracy of FCC Data, Allowing for Increased Rural High-Speed Internet Access
WASHINGTON - Following issues in Colorado and around the country, Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06) sent a letter to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai asking for immediate action to address data inaccuracies that has held Coloradan families back, preventing them from connecting to broadband internet. Last week, Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06), Chairman of the Small Business Subcommittee on Innovation and Workforce Development, convened a panel of small business owners and technology business leaders to discuss how the Committee can help small businesses harness digital technology to grow their business, attract new customers, and create new jobs.
"It is with broken hearts that we respond to the news coming out of Highlands Ranch. We still don't have all the details regarding the situation at STEM school, but we do know this: we have a public health crisis on our hands. This cannot continue. It is not enough to send thoughts and prayers, it is empty, it is weak, and it does an injustice to our children who are on the frontlines of this violence.
"We must pass common-sense gun violence laws and ensure we are preparing our educators and law enforcement with the tools and resources necessary to create a safe and welcoming environment. This must stop."
Yesterday marked the end of district work week. During the two week period, Congressman Crow (CO-06) traveled across the district visiting all three counties to meet with constituents and hear how Congress can better do its job for the people of Colorado's 6th.

Rep. Jason Crow, his wife Deserai, and a panel of local artists have selected six pieces of artwork by high school students from Colorado's 6th district to be displayed both in the U.S. Capitol and Crow's district office.
"The dedication and skill on display in these pieces is truly exceptional and made it no easy task to select the winners," said Crow. "Each of the 35 entries demonstrated the artist's creativity and hard work, and I look forward to sharing their art in the Capitol and our district office."
This weekend Rep. Jason Crow will host high school artists from across the 6th district to celebrate their participation in the Congressional Art Competition "An Artistic Discovery".
"We were blown away by the incredible talent these young artists displayed and are looking forward to celebrating their work this Sunday. Thank you to the art teachers and parents across the district who foster students' creativity and support their efforts in and out of the classroom," said Crow. "We are proud to partner with the Congressional Art Competition to help give these young artists throughout the district a platform to display their talents on a national stage."
Today, Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) introduced an amendment to H.R. 9, the Climate Action Now Act, of which he is a cosponsor. Crow's amendment, which passed on the House floor by voice vote, reaffirms the Department of Defense's goal to secure renewable energy across military installations and operations, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support military readiness efforts in the face of climate change.
