WASHINGTON – Congressman Jason Crow released the following statement marking the 18th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks:
"Eighteen years ago today, the course of American history changed forever. 9/11 was both a moment of great loss, but also great resolve. We saw that America is at its best when we come together to support one another and work in unity. My heart is with the victims and the first responders who we lost that Tuesday and their families who still feel the pain today.
WASHINGTON – The Gun Violence Prevention Task Force and Congressman Jason Crow, Vice Chair of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, held a Forum today on the urgent need for Senate action where he was joined by dozens of colleagues urging Senate Republicans to vote on commonsense, House-passed background check legislation.

Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) released the following statement on the Trump Administration's decision to transfer funds appropriated to U.S. military construction projects to pay for his border wall.
"Right now, I'm at the U.S.- Mexico border hearing directly from our nation's servicemembers and border patrol agents, and the number one need being expressed to me is more CBP personnel - not a wall. While our troops are being used to backfill personnel shortages at the border, the administration now plans to cut billions in defense projects, further impacting our military's readiness.
Today Rep. Jason Crow (CO-6), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, announced his visit to the Southern border today with Republican member Rep. Don Bacon (NE-2) to conduct congressional oversight of the migrant detention centers and border security.
The congressional delegation visit led by Crow and organized by the House Armed Services Committee will include a visit to the border with Customs and Border Protection, a tour of the Bridge of Americas Port of Entry, briefings and discussions with officials, and a visit to ICE's El Paso Processing Center.
Today, following the White House's official announcement of the creation of U.S. Space Command, the entire Colorado Congressional Delegation and Governor Jared Polis sent a new letter to the U.S. Department of Defense reiterating their call for the headquarters to be reestablished in Colorado.
In the letter to acting Secretary of the Air Force Matthew Donovan and Commander of U.S. Space Command General John W. Raymond, the leaders tout Colorado's leading role in national security space, its robust aerospace industry, and its existing infrastructure as the ideal foundation on which to reestablish U.S. Space Command.

Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06) helped introduced the Foreign Influence Reporting in Elections (FIRE) Act, a bill that would help prevent foreign interference in U.S. elections by requiring political campaigns to report attempts by foreigners to influence U.S. elections to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and then the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). While it is illegal to accept campaign donations or assistance from foreign entities, the FIRE Act stipulates that any foreign nationals attempting to make campaign contributions or offer information or coordination must be reported to federal authorities within a week. This bill would apply to all campaigns –– from presidential to state and local races.
Today, Rep. Jason Crow, co-chair of the New Democrat Infrastructure Task Force, along with Reps. Stacey Plaskett, Elissa Slotkin, and Salud Carbajal, led a letter with 70 House members to President Trump urging him to recommit to working with Congress on comprehensive and bipartisan legislation to bring America's infrastructure into the 21st Century. Modernizing America's aging infrastructure is essential to creating jobs, spurring economic growth, and increasing our global competitiveness.
