WASHINGTON - Today, Reps. Jason Crow and Joe Neguse introduced the Ketamine Restriction Act, legislation that would ban the use of ketamine during an arrest or detention, other than in a hospital. The Colorado Congressmen introduced the legislation alongside Congressman Jerry Nadler, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee; Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Chair of the U.S. Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security; and Reps. Pramila Jayapal and Mondaire Jones.

The INVEST in America Act is a five-year, $547 billion bill to invest in our nation's roads, bridges, transit and rail.

Members Launched Bipartisan ALS Caucus in 2019 to Find Cure for ALS

WASHINGTON - Today, Reps. Jason Crow (D-CO), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Terri Sewell (D-AL), and Ken Calvert (R-CA) reintroduced a resolution designating May as ALS Awareness Month to raise awareness about the challenges faced by Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) patients and their families. Senators Coons (D-DE) and Braun (R-IN) introduced the Senate companion.

ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the body's motor neurons causing decreased mobility and eventually leads to death.

WASHINGTON - Today, Representatives Jason Crow (D-CO) joined by Sylvia Garcia (D-TX) and Veronica Escobar (D-TX) reintroduced the End Transfer of Detained Immigrants Act, legislation which would immediately prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from transferring immigrant detainees between ICE facilities or to federal, state, and local prisons during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The legislation also requires that if physical distancing inside ICE facilities is not possible, that individuals be released to ensure adherence to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
