WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) released this statement today following the start of an unprecedented strike by the United Auto Workers against three major automakers—General Automotive, Ford Motors, and Stellantis—at the same time.

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO-06), led a letter with Colorado Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper pushing the Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to publicly release the Detainee Death Review Report on the death of Nicaraguan asylum seeker Melvin Ariel Calero-Mendoza. Mr. Calero-Mendoza was detained and tragically died at the Aurora Contract Detention Facility operated by the GEO Group in October 2022.

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) released this statement marking twenty-two years since the devastating 9/11 terrorist attacks, the deadliest terrorist attacks on US soil and one of the darkest days in our nation’s history. 

Following 9/11, Congressman Crow commissioned as an active duty Army officer. He led a platoon of paratroopers in the invasion of Iraq, followed by two tours in Afghanistan as an Army Ranger.
