Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., a former Army Ranger who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, has blasted the Trump administration over reports that the government plans to send more than 1,000 Afghans who assisted the United States’ war effort to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The move, first reported by The New York Times, comes after President Donald Trump halted the U.S. resettlement program last year. The pause left about 1,100 Afghans at Camp As Sayliyah, a former U.S. military base outside Doha, Qatar, in limbo despite a majority of them already being approved for resettlement.

At recess, before school, after school, even on the weekends, Littleton Public Schools’ (LPS) playgrounds are filled with life, children swing, play and make new friends. For some kids, accessibility needs can make parts of playgrounds just out of reach. However, LPS is working to change that — with a little help from federal funding.

This year, LPS received $1 million in one-time federal funding, with help from Representative Jason Crow. The funding will be used to make the district’s elementary school playgrounds more accessible, ensuring all students get a chance to play.

As more U.S. troops, ordered up weeks ago, arrive in the Mideast, several members of Colorado’s legislative leadership have called on Congress to act, as the “War of Choice” against Iran, by President Donald Trump continues to foment chaos around the globe.

Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) and Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO), members of the Senate and House Intelligence Committees, released the following statement urging both chambers of Congress to support a War Powers Resolution to end President Donald Trump’s reckless, costly war with Iran:

“As we’ve said from the start, Congress must do its constitutional duty to stop President Trump’s dangerous and unauthorized war.

Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., said he was "taking names" and creating his own list on Tuesday when pressed on how Democrats were going to respond to what MS NOW reported as an "enemies" list from the Trump Department of Justice (DOJ), specifically with regard to his participation in a video telling U.S. military personnel to refuse hypothetical illegal orders from the Trump administration.

Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.) on Tuesday urged U.S. service members to “follow the law” if directed to strike Iranian civilians targets, after President Trump issued a dire threat to Iran earlier in the day.

“Well, it’s a war crime. It’s a very clear war crime,” Crow, a former Army Ranger who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, told host Kasie Hunt on CNN’s “The Arena.” “If [Trump] attempts to follow through on it, my message to the military servicemen and women that would have to follow through on those orders is they have an obligation to follow the Constitution and they have an obligation to follow the law.”

President Donald Trump’s threat to blow up Iranian power plants and bridges — in his own words, to send the country “back to the Stone Ages” — is facing stiff pushback from Democrats, who are warning the commander-in-chief is on the precipice of committing war crimes.

Republicans, by contrast, hardly see a problem at all.

The president’s threat came Easter morning, when — in an expletive-laced post — Trump indicated he was prepared to order the U.S. military to blow up key infrastructure across Iran starting Tuesday.

“Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell,” the president wrote.

It is not just Democrats in Congress who fear that Donald Trump’s war in Iran is going sideways. After a classified Pentagon briefing on Wednesday, Republican lawmakers on the House Armed Services Committee appeared shaken.

Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.) ripped the Trump administration on Thursday for not providing “satisfactory answers” on its ongoing military operation against Iran, as attacks continue across the region and President Trump claims progress in negotiations.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Thursday again dodged questions on whether Iran posed an "imminent threat" to the U.S., repeating her view that only President Donald Trump can make that determination.

Gabbard, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, FBI Director Kash Patel and other national security officials sat for a second day of testimony on worldwide threats, this time before the House Intelligence Committee.
