Congressman Crow Hears Directly from Constituents in First Public Town Hall of the Year

Over 1,300 in attendance as Crow shared his efforts to lower costs, protect rights, and safeguard public safety

 

AURORA — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (D-C0-06) hosted his first town hall event of the 119th Congress at Aurora’s Hinkley High School. More than 1,300 people were in attendance as Congressman Crow took questions directly from the audience and discussed how he’s working to lower costs, protect individual rights, and safeguard public safety.

Congressman Crow answered questions on a variety of topics including lowering grocery and housing costs, improving servicemembers quality of life, and how he plans to stand up against the worst impulses of the Trump Administration. He also highlighted his recent introduction of legislation to protect Americans’ sensitive data, as well a bill to better protect communities in Colorado and across the west from the effects of forest fires.

“Hearing directly from Coloradans informs my work and helps me better represent our community. It was great to be in Aurora to hear what issues that matter most to folks and their families,” said Congressman Crow. “There’s important work ahead to lower grocery and housing costs and improve life for our servicemembers — and I’m in for the fight.”
