WASHINGTON - Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) tonight joined House Democrats to pass once-in-a-generation reform legislation. H.R. 1, the For the People Act, is a sweeping anti-corruption package to clean up Washington, protect and expand voting rights, restore integrity to government and put the needs and priorities of the American people ahead of special interests.
H.R. 1 includes Crow's legislation, the End Dark Money Act, which would close loopholes that allow mega-donors to hide their political spending.

Lori Trahan (D-MA), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, introduced the Realizing Efforts for Military Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (REMEDI) Act to require 21st century diversity training for the Department of Defense workforce. The legislation would update outdated language to ensure diversity training at the Department of Defense is a reflection of our nation's values and promotes diversity, equality, and inclusion at the largest governmental agency.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Jason Crow announced the Department of Justice's Office for Victims of Crime will grant $2,878,767 to the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice to assist victims of the 2019 shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch.
"Our community has carried a heavy burden from gun violence and it is critical that we support our families, students, and educators in their path to recovery from the STEM shooting. This federal grant is tremendous news and will play a pivotal role in helping our survivors move forward," said Crow.

Key Legislative Wins

This funding will allow two public health agencies—the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH)—to investigate the problem for the first time in more than 20 years.
