WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) joined Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen (CO-07) in leading a group of Colorado Representatives to urge the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to continue funding the Rocky Mountain Prevention Research Center (RMPRC), which has conducted instrumental public health research in the region for nearly 20 years.

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO-06), led a letter with Colorado Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper pushing the Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to publicly release the Detainee Death Review Report on the death of Nicaraguan asylum seeker Melvin Ariel Calero-Mendoza. Mr. Calero-Mendoza was detained and tragically died at the Aurora Contract Detention Facility operated by the GEO Group in October 2022.
