WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06), Army combat veteran and Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability, joined Congressmen Brad Schneider (IL-10) and Jimmy Panetta (CA-19), along with 27 colleagues, in sending a letter to President Biden supporting the Administration’s efforts, along with Egypt and Qatar, to reach an agreement between Israel and Hamas to bring hostages home and provide a pause in the fighting in Gaza. Israel has agreed to the framework of such a pause but Hamas has so far rejected it.

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Jason Crow led a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressing concerns related to the human rights situation in Ethiopia and requesting an update from the Department of State on whether the Government of Ethiopia is engaged in a pattern of gross violations of internationally-recognized human rights.

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO-06), led a letter with Colorado Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper pushing the Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to publicly release the Detainee Death Review Report on the death of Nicaraguan asylum seeker Melvin Ariel Calero-Mendoza. Mr. Calero-Mendoza was detained and tragically died at the Aurora Contract Detention Facility operated by the GEO Group in October 2022.
