Legislative Requests
FY27 Appropriations Requests
Congressman Jason Crow is accepting requests for FY27 appropriations. All submissions are due no later than March 10, 2026, at 11:59pm MST. To give our staff adequate time to review, our office encourages organizations to submit as early as possible.
If your organization participates in any federal funded programs, please fill out THIS FORM to detail your requests for programmatic funding or bill or report language. Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed. Our office has limited availability to meet to discuss individual requests and will reach out directly with any questions.
Please note that Congressman Crow will not be able to support all proposals that are received. Requests must be merit-based and comply with all current House rules. Submission of such requests does not constitute a binding commitment on any party, nor guarantee that any organization will be awarded funding from any federal agency through this process.
FY27 Community Project Funding Requests
The House Appropriations Committee has issued guidance on deadlines and eligibility criteria for FY 2027 Community Project Funding (CPF) requests. If you are interested in applying for a CPF in FY27, please complete an interest form and a member of our staff will be in touch with you. Interest forms must be received no later than March 4, 2026 at 11:59pm MST.
Completed applications with all supporting materials for all Agriculture, CJS, and MilCon-VA projects are due no later than March 8, 2026, at 11:59pm MST.
Completed applications with all supporting materials for all Energy & Water, Homeland Security, Interior, LHHS, and THUD projects are due no later than March 13, 2026, at 11:59pm MST.
Please note:
- It is imperative that you closely read eligibility criteria and selection guidance for each project. Please communicate all questions in advance with Congressman Crow’s staff.
- Project funding may not be directed to for-profit recipients. Applicants must be state, local, or tribal governmental entities and certain eligible non-profits, as allowed under federal law and subcommittee guidance.
- Submission of such requests does not constitute a binding commitment on any party, nor guarantee that any organization will be awarded funding from any federal agency through this process.
- Once submitted, requests may be made publicly available.
- Partial projects will not be considered.
- The project request must be located within CO-06.
- Only projects with demonstrated community support will be considered. As such, every project will require community letters of support. Please begin seeking support documents early as the window for submission is narrow.
- Community letters of support may include letters of support from elected community leaders (e.g. mayors or other officials); press articles highlighting the need for the requested CPF; support from newspaper editorial boards; projects listed on State intended use plans, community development plans, or other publicly available planning documents; or resolutions passed by city councils or boards.
- Each CPF request must be for FY27 funds only and cannot include a request for multi-year funding.
- Several Federal programs eligible for CPF requests require a State or local match for projects either by statute or according to longstanding policy. The Appropriations Committee will not waive these matching requirements for CPF requests, so it is important that applying entities develop a plan for matching requirements prior to requesting a project. This does not mean that matching funds must be in-hand prior to requesting a project, but that local officials must have a plan to meet such requirements in order for such a project to be viable.
- Congressman Crow will not be able to support all proposals that are received.
