Statement from Rep. Crow on FY 2019 Government Funding Package

Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) issued the following statement regarding his vote for the FY 2019 government funding package:

"It's a national embarrassment that merely keeping our government open has become Washington's new threshold for compromise. America should never tolerate reducing federal workers to bargaining chips in policy debates.

"As I vote yes on this imperfect bill to keep the federal government open, I do so with an urgent call to step up the fight for comprehensive, fact-based, and humane immigration reform. This administration has repeatedly engaged in fear-mongering that directly affects the people of the 6th district. America is not a nation built on fear. We are a nation of immigrants and I will not stand idly by as this President continues to traffic in hate to promote his political agenda. Enough is enough."
