Rep. Jason Crow Calls for Establishment of Military-to-Military Hotline with Iran to Avoid Accidental Conflict
Today, during the House Democratic leadership's weekly press conference, Rep. Jason Crow called for the establishment of a military-to-military de-escalation hotline with Iran.
"But instead of the saber rattling and chest pounding that we constantly see from this administration, I hope that we take concrete steps towards de-escalation and one avenue that I am personally calling for is the establishment of deconfliction hotlines. It's very important that we have military to military communication in the Middle East to avoid misunderstanding."
Crow was joined at today's press conference by House Democratic Caucus Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), Vice Chair Katherine Clark (MA-05), and U.S. Representative Elissa Slotkin (MI-08).
