Rep. Crow Named New Democrat Coalition Infrastructure Task Force Co-Chair
Today Congressman Jason Crow was named Co-Chair of the New Democrat Coalition Infrastructure Task Force. As co-chair of the New Democrat Coalition Infrastructure Task Force, Crow will work closely with local and federal stakeholders and develop policy positions to improve our nation's infrastructure and increase long-term federal investments in infrastructure projects.
"The sixth district is growing more every day but with that comes a growing strain on our infrastructure needs. As co-chair, I look forward to advocating for increased federal funding of our highways and public transit systems so our community can keep pace with our country's economic growth," said Rep. Jason Crow. "I look forward to leading the Infrastructure Task Force and working with my colleagues to find commonsense policy solutions."
Surrounding Denver, the country's fifth fastest-growing city, the sixth congressional district relies heavily on federal highways including I-25, I-225 and I-70. As co-chair, Congressman Crow will also serve with Representatives Plaskett, Slotkin, and Carbajal.
