Crow Statement on Republican Budget Bill

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO), a former paratrooper and Army Ranger who serves on the House Armed Services Committee, released the following statement after his vote against the Republican budget bill:

“Republicans keep telling us we can't afford to lower the cost of healthcare, food, and housing. Yet they can magically find nearly $100 billion dollars of taxpayer dollars to fund Trump’s Iran war and the President’s vanity projects. I’m a hell no.

“Republicans already cut healthcare and food assistance in order to give a massive tax cut to billionaires and corporations. Now they’re pushing another reckless budget bill that hurts working people. I’m fighting back against their corrupt and reckless policies.”
