Crow Announces 2021 Congressional Art Competition
AURORA - Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06) today invited high school students across Colorado’s Sixth District to submit original artwork for his third annual Congressional Art Competition. The 2021 Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students who live in the district. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, April 18th, 2021, at 11:59 pm MST. Students interested in participating should visit his website for complete details about the competition.
Winners will be chosen by a panel of local artists and community leaders, including Congressman Crow, and the first-place winner will be invited to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol. Other winning art pieces will be displayed in the Congressman’s Aurora office.
“I am thrilled to announce the 2021 Congressional Art Competition and I’m excited to see all the creative pieces Colorado students will submit,” said Congressman Jason Crow. “As we’ve seen, art can be a powerful outlet and form of expression during challenging times. I look forward to recognizing the talents of young artists throughout the Sixth District and I encourage all high school students to participate.”
