Congressman Jason Crow to Lead Democrats on House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability
Crow Will Use Leadership Position to Protect America’s Interests with Allies & Increase Transparency
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) was selected as Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC) Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability for the 118th Congress.
“I’m honored to be selected as Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability,” said Congressman Jason Crow. “Congressional oversight is a solemn responsibility. I look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure our non-partisan focus on national security, diplomacy, and strong, lasting partnerships.”
During the organizational meeting this morning, Crow was selected by his colleagues on the House Foreign Affairs Committee to serve as the lead Democrat on the subcommittee.
This month, House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced that Crow will continue to serve on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) for the 118th Congress. Crow has served on this committee for two years.
