Congressman Jason Crow Statement on Passage of the Inflation Reduction Act

WASHINGTON – Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) today released the following statement after helping pass the Inflation Reduction Act, a comprehensive package that will lower costs, shore up affordable health care, and put US climate goals within reach.

“I hear every day from hardworking folks in our community who are getting squeezed by inflation and supply chain issues. I’m proud to have helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act, to deliver long term relief by lowering healthcare and prescription drug costs, creating millions of jobs, tackling the climate crisis, and putting our country on the right track by dramatically reducing the deficit. Better yet, we’re paying for it by closing loopholes and ensuring big corporations and the ultra-wealthy begin paying their fair share in taxes.
