Congressman Crow Tours Aurora’s New Lt. Col. John W. Mosley VA Clinic

AURORA — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO-06), former Army Ranger who served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, visited the Lt. Col. John W. Mosley VA Clinic, where he toured the recently-opened outpatient facility and met with clinic leadership to discuss the work ahead to improve veteran care. 

This visit follows Congressman Crow’s successful effort to name the Aurora VA community-based outpatient clinic after Lt. Col. John W. Mosley, a Colorado native who lived in Aurora and who served as a Tuskegee Airman and civil rights activist. Congressman Crow was joined on the tour by Lt. Col. Mosley’s son, Eric Mosley.

“I’m grateful to tour Lt. Col. John W. Mosley VA Clinic today and meet with clinic leadership to discuss ways that we can best serve our veteran community. As a veteran myself, I know just how important it is to deliver world-class care to those who have served,” said Congressman Crow. “I’m especially glad that this clinic bears the name of Lt. Col. John W. Mosley, a Colorado native who served as a Tuskegee Airman and civil rights activist. I was proud to lead this effort in Congress and even prouder that his legacy lives on in our community.”

The Lt. Col. John Mosley VA Clinic opened in January 2025. The facility provides critical care services for veterans throughout the local community, including primary care, mental health, radiology, pharmacy, nutrition, and social work services. 

This visit builds on Congressman Crow’s longstanding work to improve veteran care across our country. Congressman Crow previously introduced the Veterans’ Sentinel Act, bipartisan legislation to respond to suicide by US veterans at Department of Veterans' Affairs (VA) facilities by improving the accuracy of data collection and enhancing congressional oversight. He also worked to pass the PACT Act, the largest expansion of veterans health benefits in US history.
