Congressman Crow Sworn into the 119th Congress, Vows Continued Bipartisan Work to Deliver for Colorado Families

January 3, 2025

Crow: “Drawing on the servant leadership I learned as an Army Ranger, I look forward to continuing to be the voice for Colorado’s 6th Congressional District in Congress.”

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) released the following statement after being sworn into the 119th Congress as the Representative for Colorado’s 6th Congressional District.

In a statement, Congressman Crow said:

“Whether as an Army Ranger or a Member of Congress, I’ve sworn an oath to this country many times in my life. It's an honor to do so again today as we begin the 119th Congress.

“I am ready to continue working for the people of Colorado to lower the cost of everyday items like gas, groceries, and housing. I will work to defend America’s values and find common ground with my colleagues across the aisle, to deliver real results for my constituents. And I will not hesitate to hold the President and congressional Republicans accountable on issues critically important to Coloradans, including advancing reproductive rights, combatting the climate crisis, protecting our democracy, and enacting commonsense gun violence prevention.

“Drawing on the servant leadership I learned as an Army Ranger, I look forward to continuing to be the voice for Colorado’s 6th Congressional District in Congress – and I am forever grateful to our community for once again trusting me with this responsibility.”
