Congressman Crow Statement on Passage of House Resolution to Support Syria and Türkiye in Earthquake Aftermath

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) released this statement following House passage of H.Res.132, a resolution in response to the devastating earthquakes in Syria and Türkiye that tragically took the lives of over 36,000 people. The resolution passed with bipartisan support.

In a statement, Congressman Crow said:

“Türkiye and Syria were hit by massive and catastrophic earthquakes that devastated communities, separated families, and tragically took the lives of thousands of people. I stand with my bipartisan colleagues to express my deepest sympathies for the families affected by this horrible natural disaster and commit to providing aid and support to the people of Syria and Türkiye as they overcome and rebuild.”
