Congressman Crow Statement on Hamas Terrorist Attack Against Israel

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06), Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability and member of the House Intelligence Committee, released this statement following Hamas’ brutal attack against Israel. 

In a statement, Congressman Crow said:

“I strongly condemn Hamas’ heinous terrorist attack against Israel. Kidnapping dozens of civilians, including children, killing hundreds, and wounding thousands is never justified. I am horrified.

“It is clear this attack was intended to inflict maximum chaos and suffering to civilians, following the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War as many celebrated a major Jewish holiday. 

“Israel is our strongest ally in the Middle East. The US unequivocally stands with Israel and its right to defend itself.

“My thoughts are with the Israeli people. I will continue to closely monitor any developments.”
