Congressman Crow Statement on Biden Ordering US Intelligence of Russian War Crimes to be Shared with the International Criminal Court
WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Jason Crow (CO-06), member of the House Foreign Affairs and House Intelligence Committees, released this statement following President Biden’s decision to send US intelligence on Russian war crimes in Ukraine with the International Criminal Court (ICC).
This shift in policy follows Crow’s recent letter urging the Biden Administration to share tailored intelligence on Russian war crimes in Ukraine with the ICC. Last year, Crow also helped pass legislation that allows for this information to be shared.
In a statement, the Representatives said:
“Russia has committed horrific crimes against humanity in Ukraine—Putin and those responsible must be held accountable.
“I applaud President Biden’s decision to share information on Russian war crimes with the International Criminal Court. This decision shows once again that the US is unwavering in our support for Ukraine and their freedom.”
