WASHINGTON - Today, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) announced it would begin an investigation into the January 6th Capitol Attack following a bicameral effort led by Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) and over 110 of his colleagues to GAO demanding a comprehensive and independent investigation into the Capitol attack. The Crow-led effort represents the largest Member-driven effort to investigate the domestic terrorist attacks on the U.S. Capitol to date.

WASHINGTON D.C. ­– Today, Reps. Jason Crow (CO-06) and Cindy Axne (IA-03) led a letter requesting that members of the National Guard, law enforcement, and other public safety personnel deployed to protect the U.S. Capitol be provided free meals, beds, and allowed to access the House's shower and locker room facilities.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Rep. Jason Crow, took to the House Floor to deliver remarks during Wednesday's impeachment debate. The speech marked one week since Crow and over two dozen Members of Congress were locked in the House Chamber for nearly 30 minutes during the January 6th attack on the Capitol.

Today, Rep. Jason Crow spoke with Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy regarding the lead up to and subsequent events on the January 6 insurrection at the U.S Capitol. The call comes after Rep. Crow and Rep. Gallego sent a letter on Saturday to the Secretary requesting an urgent briefing for House Armed Services Committee Members detailing the Department of Defense and National Guard's command and control response to January 6 and their preparation for the January 20 Inauguration.

"It's no surprise that Donald Trump doesn't respect Democracy or our Constitution. We have known that for a long time now. The blame now falls squarely on his enablers. The men and women who allow him to commit his abuses. The men and women who so easily turn their backs on their country either out of fear, or in the gross pursuit of power.

WASHINGTON -- Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) took the oath of office today as the Representative of Colorado's 6th Congressional District. Crow joins the 117th Congress for his second term. He released the following statement.

"Today I walked up the Capitol steps to start the 117th Congress. Two years ago we never could have imagined the challenges we would face. Our nation is deeply divided, our politics polarized, the economy is reeling, and thousands of our fellow Americans have died in the pandemic. But I always believe there is hope, because I believe in America.
