WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following bipartisan support and passage in both the House and Senate, ALS Caucus Co-Chair and Co-Founder Rep. Jason Crow celebrated the passage of the ALS Disability Insurance Access Act. The ALS Association endorsed bill would eliminate a five-month waiting period on Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits for people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Today, Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) launched a digital holiday card program inviting constituents of Colorado's 6th congressional district to submit a digital thank you message and a picture or video dedicated to the doctors, nurses, first responders, grocery store employees, and other essential employees working to keep Coloradans safe and healthy amid a rise in COVID-19 infections this holiday season. Crow's office is partnering with various stakeholders throughout the district to deliver the cards.

WASHINGTON – Today, Representatives Jason Crow (D-Colo.) and Troy Balderson (R-Ohio) and Senators Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Tim Scott (R-S.C.) introduced the Next Generation Entrepreneur Corps Act to spur new business and job creation in underserved communities by starting a competitive fellowship for entrepreneurs. With a five-year investment of $368 million, the bill will identify talented entrepreneurs through a national competition and directly support the creation of more than 320 new businesses each year.

Today, Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) announced the start of Holiday Cards for Heroes. The program invites constituents of the sixth district to drop off holiday cards for service members at Crow's district office in Aurora, starting today through Friday, December 18. For the program, Crow's office is partnering with the Denver USO who will help deliver the cards to servicemembers.

Holiday cards should be placed in envelopes but not sealed. Cards can be left in the designated box in front of Crow's office in Aurora located at 3300 S. Parker Rd.

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Crow helped lead an op-ed with nine of his congressional colleagues urging the Trump administration to comply with the Federal Records Act of 1950 (FRA) and the Presidential Records Act of 1978 (PRA). These laws ensure documents, including digital and electronic records, pertaining to the official duties of the President, Vice President, and federal agencies are retained and preserved. Washington, D.C. — Today, Representatives Jason Crow (D-CO) joined by Sylvia Garcia (D-TX) and Veronica Escobar (D-TX) introduced the End Transfers of Detained Immigrants Act, legislation which would immediately prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from transferring immigrant detainees between ICE facilities or to federal, state, and local prisons during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
