WASHINGTON - Reps. Jason Crow (CO-06) and Susan Wild (PA-07) today introduced the Capitol Remembrance Act, which would direct the Architect of the Capitol to install an educational exhibit as a memorial to the January 6, 2021 attacks on the U.S. Capitol. The legislation would ensure the January 6th attacks, which desecrated our seat of government and threatened the fabric of our democracy, are never lost to history.

WASHINGTON - Today, Reps. Jason Crow (CO-06) and Troy Balderson (OH-12) announced the creation of the Defense Workforce, Innovation, and Industry Caucus (DWIIC). As part of the caucus launch, Reps. Crow and Balderson hosted National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) President and CEO General Hawk Carlisle, USAF (Ret) for a briefing on the findings of NDIA's second annual Vital Signs 2021 report on the health of the defense industrial base and workforce.

WASHINGTON - Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) tonight joined House Democrats to pass once-in-a-generation reform legislation. H.R. 1, the For the People Act, is a sweeping anti-corruption package to clean up Washington, protect and expand voting rights, restore integrity to government and put the needs and priorities of the American people ahead of special interests.

H.R. 1 includes Crow's legislation, the End Dark Money Act, which would close loopholes that allow mega-donors to hide their political spending.

WASHINGTON - Today, Reps. Jason Crow (D-CO), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Terri Sewell (D-AL), and Kevin Calvert (R-CA) relaunched the ALS Caucus for the 117th Congress.

The ALS caucus, which was first formed by the lawmakers in 2019, brings lawmakers from both sides of the aisle to share experiences, exchange ideas, and work collaboratively to find a cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The caucus was formed with the help of I AM ALS and many ALS advocacy groups, including The ALS Association and others.

WASHINGTON - Today, Reps. Jason Crow (D-CO) and Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) introduced the Military Spouses Retirement Security Act, bipartisan legislation that would help spouses of active duty service members save for retirement by expanding access to employer-sponsored retirement plans.

WASHINGTON - Today, Representatives Jason Crow (D-Colo.) and Troy Balderson (R-Ohio) and Senators Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Tim Scott (R-S.C.) introduced the Next Generation Entrepreneurship Corps Act. This bipartisan and bicameral legislation would encourage new business and job creation in underserved communities through a competitive fellowship for entrepreneurs. With a six-year investment of $330 million, the bill will identify talented entrepreneurs through a national competition and directly support the creation of 320 new businesses each year.

AURORA - Rep. Jason Crow released the following statement after the publication of Aurora's independent review into the death of Elijah McClain:

"No report or investigation can bring back Elijah or ease his family's pain. We failed Elijah and his family and we must learn from this injustice. The results of Aurora's independent investigation make it clear that the police should not have stopped, frisked, or used a chokehold.

WASHINGTON - Today, Reps. Jason Crow (CO-06) and Mike Gallagher (WI-08) introduced the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Location Act, which would authorize the establishment of a memorial for service members of the Global War on Terrorism on the National Mall. Both Gallagher and Crow are veterans of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT), having served in the Army and the Marines, respectively.

The bill was introduced alongside 13 Democrats and 24 Republicans. Reps. Crow and Gallagher previously introduced the legislation in November 2019.
