AURORA -- Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) today announced three local winners of his Congressional Art Competition. The first-place piece “Split,” by Cherry Creek High School student Emily Zhang, will be hung on display in the United States Capitol’s Cannon Tunnel with the winners from other congressional districts. “Apathy” by Eaglecrest High School student Josiah Dunkin, came in second place, and will be displayed in the Colorado Department of Education building.

Through Operation Allies Welcome, most Afghan nationals who arrived during the evacuation effort were paroled into the United States on a case-by-case basis for humanitarian reasons for a period of two years and then had to apply for work authorization.
