Today Congressman Jason Crow led a letter to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) along with 11 members of Congress requesting increased transparency regarding the reporting of COVID-19 cases among staff and personnel working at immigration detention centers. While ICE.gov does report COVID-19 among ICE employees, it excludes contract staffers and personnel who work at facilities from its report.

Congressman Jason Crow today announced that three Community Health Centers in Colorado's 6th district have been awarded nearly $5 million as a result of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The funding follows a push by Crow who fought for community health center funding to be included in the CARES Act. The funding will help the centers continue to provide the treatment and testing needed to help patients and community members affected by COVID-19.

Today, Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) launched "Thank Yous for Local Heroes" inviting constituents of the sixth district to submit digital notes and drawings for the doctors, nurses, first responders, grocery store employees, and other essential workers working to keep Coloradans safe and healthy during the coronavirus outbreak. For the program, Crow's office is partnering with various stakeholders throughout the district to deliver the cards.

Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) announced today that counties and municipalities in the 6th Congressional District will receive more than $4.7 million in COVID-19 Recovery Grants as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Arapahoe and Adams Counties will receive a combined $1.7 million dollars in COVID Recovery Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and Aurora and Thornton will receive over $3 million in funding from the CDBG Program and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG). The state of Colorado will also receive $327 million in transit funding.
