WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO), a former Army Ranger and Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and House Armed Services Committee, is calling on Congress to force the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to focus on its full mission, rather than diverting resources and personnel from their core functions.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO), a former paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, released the following statement in response to reports that the Trump Administration will deploy the 82nd Airborne to the Middle East:

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO), a former Army Ranger and Ranking Member of the the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Intelligence and Special Operations, questioned Trump Administration officials over decisions within the Department of Defense to fire personnel and defund offices responsible for mitigating civilian harm in combat. This comes as President Trump’s war in Iran has reportedly led to more than 1,000 civilian casualties, including 175 people, mostly young girls, at an elementary school that was allegedly struck by a U.S.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO)—a combat veteran and co-chair of the Protection of Civilians in Conflict Caucus—led 120 Democratic Members of Congress demanding answers on recent civilian deaths during Operation Epic Fury, including a U.S. strike on an Iranian girls’ elementary school where at least 175 civilians, many of them children, were killed.

“Tina Peters is a convicted felon. She was found guilty, by a jury of her peers, for her actions to undermine a free and fair election in Colorado. She has shown no contrition for what she did, and she has not accepted responsibility for it.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO), Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Intelligence & Special Operations, pressed Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby on following the law, defending the Constitution, and whether servicemembers should follow unlawful orders.

Under questioning from Crow before the House Armed Services Committee, Colby declined to answer outright.
