Tomorrow, Rep. Jason Crow will be volunteering at the Summit Conference and Events Center for its Rock it, Sock it event. The Rock it, Sock it program is designed to help provide hygiene items for people experiencing homelessness. This drive will benefit the Comitis Crisis Center, the Aurora Day Resource Center, and Colfax Community Network.

It is the first event for Crow's "Service Saturday" initiative which will have the congressman volunteering for a different community project in the district at least once a month.

Today, Rep. Crow (D-CO) announced his new project, the Lead Locally Initiative. The effort will have Rep. Crow meeting with the mayor or local municipal officials for a tour of cities in the district and a discussion of the issues facing constituents throughout the year. Crow will be visiting cities and town across the district from Foxfield (pop. 700) to Aurora (pop. 366,000).
