Yesterday, Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06) along with his Republican colleague Rep. Mike Gallagher (WI-08) led a bipartisan sunrise run on the National Mall to raise awareness for the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) Memorial. On the run, they scouted the potential sites identified for the GWOT memorial as well as ran past the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, and the World War II Memorial.

WASHINGTON -- This week, Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06) honored Veterans Day by introducing and passing a series of veterans bills working closely with members in both parties to secure bipartisan support. In addition to his legislative work, Crow also hosted the first Veterans Open Forum in Aurora to give Colorado veterans the opportunity to share their stories about their time in uniform and after.

Monday, the United States reflected on the service and sacrifice of our veterans. As a combat veteran myself, I was grateful to spend the day honoring my fellow veterans. There is a deep bond between many veterans forged on the battlefield and in service to the country. For generations, this bond has transcended politics and served as a bridge over some of our nation's most troubled waters. And I hope that it will do the same in the months ahead.

Representatives Jason Crow (D-CO-06) and Mike Gallagher (R-WI-08) introduced the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Location Act which would authorize the establishment of a memorial for service members of the Global War on Terrorism in the Reserve section of the National Mall. The proposed locations outlined in the bill include: Constitution Gardens, West Potomac Park and the JFK Hockey Fields. Both Crow and Gallagher are veterans of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) serving in the Army and Marines, respectively.

Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) announced that a full $25 million federal grant for the City of Aurora's I-70/Picadilly Interchange project has been awarded. The project will improve overall access and cut down on commute times by creating direct access to multiple job, retail, and residential centers as well as increased freight mobility serving Denver International Airport. An estimated 75,000 jobs are expected to be in the area by 2040.

WASHINGTON – Representatives Jason Crow (CO-06), Jim Hagedorn (R-MN-01), and Brad Schneider (IL-10) today introduced the bipartisan H. Res. 677, "Supporting the goals and ideals of National Veterans Small Business Week." This resolution supports the Small Business Administration and its programs that support veterans who start and own small businesses. Programs include funding for veteran-owned small businesses, training for veteran entrepreneurship, and support for veteran contracting.

Today, U.S. Representatives Jason Crow (D-CO), Brad Schneider (D-IL) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) introduced legislation to better protect America's small businesses, and their operational and customer information, from cyberattack. October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM), a collaborative effort between government and industry to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and to ensure that all Americans have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online.

WASHINGTON - Today, Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO-06) introduced the Syrian Partner Protection Act which would extend the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program to Syrian Kurdish partners and their families who supported the counter-ISIS mission. The bill comes on the heels of the administration's withdrawal from Syria, a move that faced sharp condemnation for its abandonment of the Syrian Democratic Forces who had been instrumental in containing ISIS.
