WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) was appointed Ranking Member of the bipartisan task force to investigate the attempted assassination of presidential candidate Donald Trump. The bipartisan task force, established by a resolution last week, is composed of six Democrats and seven Republicans.

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06), member of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, alongside Colorado Representatives Diana DeGette (CO-01), Joe Neguse (CO-02), Brittany Pettersen (CO-07), and Yadira Caraveo (CO-08), reintroduced a resolution to designate July 20 as "National Heroes Day.”

AURORA — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) sent a letter to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 8 leadership on their efforts to contain toxic spread from the Lowry Landfill Superfund Site (LLSS) and to ask questions about EPA’s review of proposed drilling near the site. This follows Congressman Crow’s previous call for EPA to protect Coloradans’ groundwater, which could be endangered by proposed oil and gas development near the LLSS – one of the country’s most contaminated toxic waste sites located in Colorado’s 6th District.  

WASHINGTON — Today, Representatives Jason Crow (D-CO-06), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (R-OR-05), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA-01), and Jahana Hayes (D-CT-05) introduced their bipartisan bill to allow Federal Work-Study funds to pay for costs associated with participating in teacher and principal residency programs, which have proven effective to improve teacher demand, quality, and retention.

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO-06), Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability, alongside Congressman John James (R-MI-10), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Africa, introduced a bipartisan resolution to address elevated blood lead levels in children globally and push for lead exposure prevention in health, education, and environmental programs abroad.

AURORA — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06), Army veteran, and Colorado US Senators Michael Bennet (D-CO) and John Hickenlooper (D-CO), sent a letter to Veterans Affairs Rocky Mountain Network (VISN 19) leadership calling for immediate action in response to issues related to Colorado veteran patient care within the Veterans Affairs Eastern Colorado Health Care System (VA ECHCS) network and at Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06), Army veteran and member of the Space Force and Defense Workforce, Innovation and Industry Caucuses, and US Senator John Hickenlooper (D-CO) sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, urging the Department of Defense (DoD) to create a plan to speed the security clearance process for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in DoD STEM programs.
