WASHINGTON - Today Reps. Jason Crow (CO-06), Pramila Jayapal (WA-07), and Raul Ruiz, M.D. (CA-36) called on the Biden Administration to end contracts with private immigration detention centers. In a letter to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acting Secretary David Pekoske, Crow, Jayapal, and Ruiz, joined by 72 of their colleagues, applauded the steps President Biden took this week to phase out the use of private prisons within the Department of Justice.
