WASHINGTON – Representatives Jason Crow (CO-06) and Jared Golden (ME-02) were joined by a group of six other members in a push to expand and expedite immigration status for Ukrainians fleeing Vladimir Putin's cruel and unprovoked war in Ukraine. WASHINGTON - Today Reps. Jason Crow (CO-06), Pramila Jayapal (WA-07), and Raul Ruiz, M.D. (CA-36) called on the Biden Administration to end contracts with private immigration detention centers. In a letter to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acting Secretary David Pekoske, Crow, Jayapal, and Ruiz, joined by 72 of their colleagues, applauded the steps President Biden took this week to phase out the use of private prisons within the Department of Justice.

WASHINGTON – Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06), a Vice Chair of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, was today joined by Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), Rep. Katie Porter (CA-45), and Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11) in introducing a new gun violence prevention measure in the wake of eight mass shootings across the US in just 72 hours.

WASHINGTON - Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO) today led a bipartisan effort with Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), French Hill (R-AR), and Nancy Mace (R-SC) to request additional support and resources to help the broader Capitol community cope in the aftermath of the January 6th attacks. In a letter to the Office of Employee Assistance (OEA), the lawmakers noted the emotional and physical trauma experienced by those that worked in the Capitol complex on January 6th and the importance of addressing their emotional needs going forward.

The Health Force, Resilience Force, and Jobs to Fight COVID-19 Act (Health Force Act) would recruit, train, and employ Americans to expand our public health workforce to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, aid the country's lagging vaccine distribution campaign, and strengthen America's longer-term public health response.

Jason Crow (D-CO) and Katie Porter (D-CA), Co-Chairs of the End Corruption Caucus, introduced the Expanding Transparency for Hidden Independent Campaign Spending (ETHICS) Act, legislation to close the pop-up PAC loophole which allows for newly formed super PACs to pop-up in the final weeks before Election Day and funnel unlimited, undisclosed money into elections.
