Today, Rep. Jason Crow signed on to co-sponsor the Raise the Wage Act of 2019. The bill would gradually raise the minimum wage to $15 in 2024 and ensure all workers are paid at least the full federal minimum wage by phasing out the subminimum wages for tipped workers, youth workers, and workers with disabilities.

On the 8th anniversary of the shooting in Arizona that wounded Gabby Giffords, H.R. 8 is introduced in the House

Today, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) signed on to co-sponsor H.R. 8, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act. The bill, introduced on the eighth anniversary of the shooting that wounded Gabby Giffords and 12 others and killed six in Arizona, would strengthen our nation's background checks system and help keep firearms out of the wrong hands.

"This shutdown is unnecessary and reckless and Congress has a responsibility to resolve it ASAP. It's why I supported a bipartisan bill that would allow all 20,000 Coloradans furloughed or working without pay to return to work.

"As a former Army Ranger, I take our national security seriously and support funding border security - all of which this bill does. What I don't support is a cheap election gambit by President Trump to fund an ineffective and immoral wall.
