Vietnam War 50th Commemoration

I am proud to be a partner of the Vietnam War 50th Commemoration, a program organized by the Department of Defense and collaborating organizations to thank and honor Vietnam veterans and their families.

Men and women who served in Vietnam are too often overlooked. As a partner in this commemoration, I am committed to ensuring that everyone who served is given the care and honor that they have earned.

The Vietnam War 50th Commemoration honors all Vietnam veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces between November 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975, regardless of location. There are seven million living veterans who served during this time frame and over 50,000 just in Colorado's 6th. All Vietnam-era veterans in the district are eligible to receive the Vietnam Veteran Pin.

If you are a Vietnam veteran and interested in receiving this recognition, please complete the form below. The honor can also be awarded posthumously and accepted by a family member or friend on the veteran's behalf.

My office can also help with resolving issues with veterans' benefits.

If you have any questions about the commemoration, process, or other veterans' issues, reach out to my office at 720- 748-7514. If you are looking for assistance resolving issues with other federal agencies, such as the VA, please complete this form.
