Coloradans are invited to submit thank you cards and drawings for essential workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus outbreak

Today, Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) launched "Thank Yous for Local Heroes" inviting constituents of the sixth district to submit digital notes and drawings for the doctors, nurses, first responders, grocery store employees, and other essential workers working to keep Coloradans safe and healthy during the coronavirus outbreak. For the program, Crow's office is partnering with various stakeholders throughout the district to deliver the cards.

"One of the best things we can do to keep our neighbors healthy is practice social distancing and stay home. However, there are thousands of Coloradans, from health care workers to grocery store employees, who are on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus and risking their health to keep our community safe and healthy. For their work, we are eternally thankful," said Crow. "As parents ourselves, we are teaching our kids that not all heroes wear capes and encouraging them to write thank you cards to show their gratitude and appreciation to the workers on the frontlines of the pandemic."
