Crow Launches Digital Holiday Card Program for Frontline and Essential Workers

December 8, 2020

Coloradans are invited to submit thank you cards, images, and drawings to first responders and essential workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic

Today, Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) launched a digital holiday card program inviting constituents of Colorado's 6th congressional district to submit a digital thank you message and a picture or video dedicated to the doctors, nurses, first responders, grocery store employees, and other essential employees working to keep Coloradans safe and healthy amid a rise in COVID-19 infections this holiday season. Crow's office is partnering with various stakeholders throughout the district to deliver the cards.

Crow previously launched a similar program called "Thank Yous for Local Heroes" in April when Colorado was taking initial precautions against COVID-19. Alongside the current program, Crow has partnered with the Denver USO to launch the second annual Holiday Cards for Heroes program to drop off holiday cards for service members at Crow's district office in Aurora until December 18.

"Our frontline and essential workers have been putting their lives on the line every day to get us through this crisis. This holiday season, I'm asking my fellow Coloradans to join me in saying ‘thank you' and passing along a little extra holiday cheer by submitting a short holiday message," said Crow. Let's give back to those already giving their all for our communities by wearing a mask and being responsible this season."
