Veterans History Project
There are 400,000 veterans across Colorado -- every one of them has a story.
The Veterans History Project (VHP) honors veterans who have served since World War I and the civilian workers who supported them by preserving stories of their service to our country in the nation’s oldest federal cultural institution, the Library of Congress.
With a collection of over 100,000 stories, the Veterans History Project records and archives stories that represent the diversity of the veterans who served our country from every branch of the military.
Congressman Crow is proud to be partnering in this initiative and helping preserve the stories of Colorado’s 6th’s veterans. If you are a veteran or a civilian worker who supported them and would like to share your story, please contact Terrell Horton at Terrell.Horton@mail.house.gov or call our Aurora Office at (720) 748-7514 for more information.
You can learn more about the project and listen to the stories of other veterans at www.loc.gov/vets.
