AURORA — This week, Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06), Army veteran, joined US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Under Secretary for Health, Dr. Shereef Elnahal at Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMVA) to conduct an oversight visit with new leadership and departmental chiefs and host a town hall with over 400 VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (VA ECHS) employees attending in-person and virtually.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) awarded $500,000 in funding for the Front Range Corridor Passenger Rail District to expand passenger rail intermediary stops spanning Fort Collins to Pueblo. As part of the Corridor Identification Development (Corridor ID) Plan established by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), allocated federal funding will be invested in development efforts. The Corridor ID Plan identifies projects to bolster America’s passenger rail network.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Highway Administration awarded $10,800,000 in funding to the City of Aurora’s Box Elder Creek Roadway Erosion and Flood Protection Project to reconstruct flood-damaged 56th Avenue and Hudson Road Crossings and make upgrades that will reduce flooding risks in the future. Today’s funding is the single largest grant secured for Colorado’s Sixth District from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) that Congressman Crow championed last Congress.
