ICYMI: Rep. Crow Connects Coloradans with Work Opportunities, Hosts Job Fair with 60+ Employers and Over 500 Job Seekers

AURORA — In the three months since Congressman Crow (CO-06) hosted a job fair with over 60 employers from across the Denver metro, several of the more than 500 job seekers at the fair are in the process of being considered for employment opportunities. This year’s fair included some of the the top employers across Colorado’s 6th Congressional District such as the City of Aurora, Buckley Space Force Base, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Amazon, and more.

“I grew up middle class and worked in construction to put myself through college, so I know the value and dignity that comes with a job. That’s why I’ve made it a mission of mine to connect Coloradans with work opportunities, and I’ve been proud to host several job fairs since I was first elected to Congress,” said Congressman Crow. “I would like to thank the more than 60 employers that joined us for my job fair this year, and congratulate the Coloradans who have been considered for opportunities. I look forward to continuing to build a bridge between Colorado’s employers and job seekers.”

This year’s job fair was held on August 23 in the Community College of Aurora’s Student Rotunda. Veterans and spouses of servicemembers were granted early bird access in order to best help them transition back into civilian life. This job fair builds on Congressman Crow’s efforts to connect Coloradans with work opportunities, and he has hosted several job fairs since first being sworn into Congress in 2019.
