Congressman Crow Marks One Year Since Russia Invaded Ukraine

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) released the following statement marking one year since an unprovoked Russia invaded a free Ukraine, causing devastating destruction and death. 

In a statement, Congressman Crow said:

“One year ago, the world watched in shock as Putin began his brutal invasion of Ukraine. He underestimated the grit and determination of the Ukrainian people and the resolve of democracies across the globe. 

“Today, Ukraine stands. 

“Though this is a milestone we never wanted to reach, it would not have been possible without the support of the Biden-Harris Administration and free states around the world. 

“Ukraine will win. I stand ready with my colleagues and the Biden Administration to offer aid and support the Ukrainian’s fight for freedom. Slava Ukraini!”
