AURORA — Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) released the following statement lifting up athletes from Colorado’s 6th District who will be competing in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games representing Team USA.

“Congratulations to our superstar athletes from Colorado’s 6th heading to the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games,” said Congressman Crow. “Your relentless dedication and exceptional talent are a mile-high source of pride and inspiration for us all. Go the distance, show the world what Colorado is made of, and bring home the gold, Team USA!”

Here’s a list of 2024 Paris Olympians and Paralympians from CO-06:

Anna Hall | Greenwood Village, CO | Women’s Heptathlon

During the Olympic Trials in 2021, Anna crashed into a hurdle and broke her foot, so she missed out on the Tokyo Olympics. She came in first in the heptathlon Olympic Trials this year.

Woody Kincaid | Littleton, CO | Men’s 10,000m

This will be Woody’s second Olympics. He came in 14th in the 5000m and 15th in the 10,000m in Tokyo.

Rylan Kissell | Littleton, CO | Shooting

This will be Rylan’s first Olympics after winning two medals at the 2023 Pan American Games.

Jordyn Poulter | Aurora, CO | Women’s Volleyball

Jordyn has competed in every major tournament for the U.S. She was on the team at the Tokyo Olympics and helped bring home gold. She was also named best setter at the Tokyo Olympics.

Jataya Taylor | Aurora, CO | Wheelchair Fencing

Jataya, a Marine Corps veteran, was injured in two training accidents, which led to the amputation of her left leg. In 2022, she found a renewed purpose with wheelchair fencing, also called parafencing.
